It was all so soon.  Our trip to london was all over we were back to our life.... School, office, homework, assesments

Happening month.   London was all that we were dreaming of for some time and here it was going to be a reality.  First international travel.... So excited all 3 of us were.  I was literally shopping everyday.  It was just for 10days but was a dream come true.  Lots of photos to follow.

October was all about Diwali and vacation

September the biggest festival - Ganesh Chaturthi. This time we went to Ketwadi to see the ganpathi. I really like this part of the festival. There were a lot of different forms of ganapathi in ketwadi like the gopala ganapathi, Nagendra ganapathi, chikki ganapathi. Finally we went to Lalbagh there we got to miss half the queque as one of the police saw you were tired and let us miss some part of the line. The london travel is finalised and we went with all our documents to the london visa office. I was nervious where we will be granted visa or not due to my biggest mistake. But god's grace the passports came back with visa stamping for all of us. Now the actual travel activities began.

August is about celebrations. The first onces for the year. It started with independence day, you had fancy dress competition in your school. I got you ready like a haryana lady. Got a new lehenga, top stitched. Got jewellery from monday market. I liked your entire costume and you carried yourself very nicely with all the makeup. Pics to follow.

As we continued the momentum of June... July brought in surprise. You were sent a report card for your performance from April - July. I never knew it existed for STD 1. Find a copy of it here. Your performance was not bad but when you were explained what the grades ment you promised dad to score maximum O's next time around and will work very hard for it. I was impressed. You really started working towards your grades. I also got the news from my office that there is a travel planned to london for a week to attend a training. I am thinking of taking you and dad along. It will be fun. Before anything else i got your passport renew which was due to expired this month.

This was a action packed month. Getting you out of vacation mode and waking up a 6.00 am was a really big task. It still is. We were back in full swing with our life with your school, dance , music, studies, my office and the monsoon this year was on time and in full volume. It rains every day. I really feel very bad to wake you up in early morning for school but do i have a choice. We just pushed ourselves to sail thro June

May was a very active month.  Never at home.  after the Shirdi trip on 5th we got ready to go to bangalore for 15 days.  This was going to be lots and lots of fun.  We travelled on 17th May.  Grand parents and Manju mama was very excited to have us around.  Manju mama has become very fat :) We met Chandra mama, chintu, tanisha, sujay and his baby sis on 20th May.  21st we were all off to hyderabad.  the entire family lots of fun in the train.  The mango moussee melted by the time we tasted it. It was obvious for the hot May afternoon.  It was a train which took the maximum hours to reach hyderabad.  We reached their early morning. Reached home at around 8.30 am and rest till afternoon.  Hyderabad was very hot.  Then planned up for Bhadrachalam for the night journey.  We had all our berths booked.  So after dinner we travelled by the hyderabad local which is very different from mumbai local.  There are hardly anybody travelling in the train.  The train to Bhadrachalam was at midnig

Finally a much awaited vacation has started.  Stopped all classes, no learning only having fun.  This of things we did this April - May 13th April we visited the Jahangir gallery, Akbarallis.  Lunch was your favourite bun maska with mango milk shake.  Evening we went back home early as grandma was not too well.  You got 2 new toys to play one is gold fish (you named Goldy) and one red car. 20th April, along with the grandparents we visited the Nehru Science Center in Worli.  Planned the Planetorium show for some other time.  We took the Worli bandra sea link to reach bandra.  A small accident and grandma was hit badly by a goat we went back home.  Not one of the nice weekends though 27th and 28 April was the weekend reserved to visit all other relatives in Chembur and Sion.  We stayed in Uma's house for the night.  I was very happy to meet all my cousins.  I went to Ghatkopar too and then finally to Rekha aunty's house.  Harish and ankita accompanied on our way back home

Look at the traditional telugu girl this Udagi.  the hair is an artifical attachment which you lovely to have around the whole day.  You really look preety in this.  I have this picture of yours on my mobile wall paper. 

Being the very good girl that you are.  I have had little trouble to send you to school early morning this month.  The whole idea of getting you ready by 6.30 in the morning was dreadful but then you have made it very smooth. Now we have a daily schedule in place.  I and you go to sleep by 10pm that gives enought sleep for both of us so that we are up early in the morning.  I wake you up by 5.45 am.  Then I get you ready to school and you only have milk in the morning.  2 snack boxes to be packed for you.  In which one in invariably the fruit (its mean mango mango everyday).  the other is either a roti, paratha, idly or dosa, this has come back home untouched on most days.  But i still keep sending you so that someday you might actually like it and finish it. I come back from work at around 4.30pm but when i expect you have had your lunch an afternoon nap.  Some times you don't but then I cannot help.  4.30 - 6pm is your study time.  6-8 is your fun time mostly out in the gard

Who would not want a loving head massage at the end of a very tiring day.  Dad is so lucky to have little lovely daughter doing a head massage with a new tool.  Easy to use and a lot of de-stress.

That day has finally come when your first milestone is achieved.  You will now be moving to the Primary Section (Grade 1).  For me you are still the little baby who can hardly speak and want me around all time.  Time flies and the little baby has now grown into a little girl. All of us (dad, me , grandparents) were all excited about the event.  You were dropped at the school by dad at 7.30 am.  We were to assemble at 9.00 am start.  But as the tradition flows we were a little late.  I had also planned to look my best so was in a saree and your Dad as always was his best in his white shirt and jeans. we only managed to occupy the last row seats.  We also missed the prayer and then the graduation ceremony commenced.  Eagerly waiting for you to come on the dais to receive your certification and say your speach.  I was happy to see you walk confidently and then gently thank and say the following lines (You have been rehersing this for 2weeks now). Lots of things happening this March expect for the 2 weeks holiday.  The school had organised a Super Saturday event for all Senior KG students where you had spend 4hrs with your friends and teachers.  The event started at 4pm in the evening and was to stretch till 8pm.  The events were some fun games, cooking activity, bon fire, singing , dancing, puppet show, magic show and star gazing. The dress theme was rainbow.  I had initially planned to get you a handpainted T-shirt but then dropped.  You wore your favorite jeans mini skirt, pink leggings and a black T-shirt which had 2 pretty girls on it. The girls were colourfully painted so that represented the raindow ;)

The second half of March has been a hytic and hapazard time.  No study work but practise for the Graduation Day on the 30th March 2013.  Its a big day for us when you will now be a little girl from our little baby. The practise sessions are at 8am till 11am.  This is the first time you are getting up early in the morning.  With butterflies in my stomach as to how you will manage getting up early morning starting april when your school starts at 7.05 am and your pick up is at 6.30.  This is a little rehersal for that too :) Its a dance number that you are participating in but when asked with song you only say "aiga aiga" God knows what song it is but the way the dance is taught is very impressive with little actions.  Looking forward for the grand rehersal.

There was a fancy dress competition in the school for the pre-primary section.  The topic for senior KG was festivals and were to assemble at 8 am at the school.  The challenge was to wake you up and get you ready.  So I had to keep it simple.  I made a origami modak which was a paper model.  You were to just wear it on as a hat.  But even for that we were the last once to go. It did turn out well but just that you made it look more like a hat than the modak.  Next time I will plan up something more interesting. Krishna dressed as Krishna with Dhriti as Modak

Its been almost a week and you have been troubled by the shaking tooth.  Finally today morning i got to get rid on it while brushing your teeth. Now with that gone... a small hole shows up.

I have been harsh to your this week.  I don't know whose fault but probably something wrong with me.  Sorry for that.  You kept coming to me but i just did not talk to you.  Finally i really felt sad for you.  I kept thinking the whole day then wanted to appologize.  Evening i came home early and took you to McD.  It was just the two of us.  I like such times when its just me and you.  You were busy with the finger chips but the shaking tooth didnot let you enjoy the coke or icecream too much.  I had to have it all. After all the shaky shaky dance that you do now your little tooth has started to move front and back.  Yes the first little low (Central Insicor) tooth to your left has started to shake.  Might fall off in sometime.  My little baby is slowing growing up.

There have been a lot of Competitions your Santosh Sir (Skating Coach) has been recommending you to participate.  But either due to a day of competition or the location it has always been ignored.  This time around it was best for us.  The Competition was on 27th Jan 2013, Sunday and the venue was the AP International School in mira road.  All 3 of us got ready early morning and left for the competition.  Lot of participation.  Lot of joy, lot of pain and alot of hardwork.  It just mattered to be there.  Here are the snaps

Last sunday, 20th Jan 2013 was the Christmas Party celebrated in the society.  It was more of a get-together than the Christmas as it was too late to celebrate Christmas in Jan.  The party was dedicated to the senior citizens and all the senior citizens in Solitaire were felicitated.  After which there was a DJ floor set.  You danced with all your friends Jenny, Rishab, Trisha.  At times you were also enjoying the dance just by yourself.  It was a lovely evening though it got very late.

Both of us were off for Christmas and this was the first time we were going out for a picnic with friends (both your and mine).  We went to the Evershine Garden in Kandivali.  It was a lovely evening out.  I know you enjoyed a lot.  This was organised by me and Preeti (Kartik's mom) we did not over invite anybody to avoid hassle.  It was just 4 mothers and 5 kids.  You, Kartik, Tanush, Sravani and Avni.
