Kindergarden Graduation Day - 30th March 2013

That day has finally come when your first milestone is achieved.  You will now be moving to the Primary Section (Grade 1).  For me you are still the little baby who can hardly speak and want me around all time.  Time flies and the little baby has now grown into a little girl.

All of us (dad, me , grandparents) were all excited about the event.  You were dropped at the school by dad at 7.30 am.  We were to assemble at 9.00 am start.  But as the tradition flows we were a little late.  I had also planned to look my best so was in a saree and your Dad as always was his best in his white shirt and jeans.

we only managed to occupy the last row seats.  We also missed the prayer and then the graduation ceremony commenced.  Eagerly waiting for you to come on the dais to receive your certification and say your speach.  I was happy to see you walk confidently and then gently thank and say the following lines (You have been rehersing this for 2weeks now). "Thank You Madam, My name is Dhriti Gajjala and I want to be a Doctor in Future".  My ears keep replying this line.

All the kids looks so good in their black gowns and the black hat.  I wish the final graduation also goes as smooth as this one has been.  You all grown into sensible, responsible and compassionate human beings.

Finally the actual excitement started when the teachers announced that there was small dance drama by children of all section.  The concept was very cute.  Alice loves to read books and on her birthday her dad gifts her a book "Around the World".  She reads the book and half way through falls asleep.  While a sleep she dreams to visit the different places she read about and people from those places showing her their traditional dance forms.  the first place she visited was the Gulf.  striking colour clothes and beautiful belly dancing..... the Aiwa Aiwa song begun and here you were.  wow!wow! how wonderfully you dances.  I and Dad were very impressed.  It was lovely.  Then she dreams of Russia, West Indies and finally India.

The auditorium was fully charged.  One after the other.  All the dances were fabulous.  Unfortunately our camera charge died out and we could not capture you in that consume.

The whole thing was wrapped up by 11.30.  What a day it was?  We all went back home with lots of memory that would last a life time :)

Thank you GOD for blessing us with a lovely angel and pray that you keep her as innocient as she is today.  My most precious gift.
