Dhriti and Dhruvi - The Joy of My Life

Tuesday, 17th April was Kimaya's birthday.  You went to the party with Aditya.  On wednesday Nisha aunty mentioned that you behaved very nicely in the party and she was very happy with you because you were the only child to have thanked Anitha (Kimaya's mother) after the party.  All the children walked off after having their snacks and return gifts but you said Thank you and then left.  I felt so nice to hear this.  It was such a proud moment for me.  I look forward to many more such moments.  I am sure every parent would agree that when others praise your children you are on cloud 9.  Atleast I was.  One thing even I appreciate in you is the way you say Sorry and thank you. You say them very easily and when its others turn you insist.

With only 3months of training you were able to participate in the competition.  This was an effort to get you interest into the sport when you shyed away from it.  It was a saturday event.  Both of us were up and ready early in the morning.  You were not sent by the van (only participants) arranged by your Sir.  I and Dad accompanied you till the venue.  It was Kamla Vihar Sports Club in Kandivali. There were many children of various groups all set for an event.  Most of them were accompanied by their mothers.  The excitement was no less an any olympics.  The racing was good.  Though you did not fall you faired well by standing 3rd.  All your friends performed much better in their age group but then they have been doing for so long.  You are only a couple of months into it.  Next time we will work harder. Too many to publish today as i had made a note of all the evens to be published at once.  You have completed your Jr KG and now moved to Sr K G.  All the best Dhriti.

Past four months you have taken up skating classes.  Though initially not very enthu you have now slowed developed interest.  Saturday you are going for your first ever Interclub competition.  I am more nervous than anybody else.  Its not about wining but i want you to have feel of it.   Today I have bought 2 shorts for the game. Yashoda avva also is super excited and wants to come along on sat.  We are all fingers crossed.

Finally you had to visit the Dentist last month as you had 2 decays developing and also sensitivity in the tooth.  But you enjoyed the trip.  You were very good and the dentist did fill up the cavities with a Floride mixture.  Now you have started brushing your teeth better.  Dentist advised no chocolates and wafors.  But that is the one which you ask for the most.  So we have replaced these at home with more healthy Almonds and home-made ladoo.
