Not many pictures or updates from Dhriti because she is preparing for her A levels.  Exams starting in a week.  Most days..... She is just hooked on to her books or her laptop...

Janmasthami is over. .. Independence day is here.  Event to be dressed as a freedom fighter and say 4 lines. We decided on Sarojini Naidu and dressed you up in the saree.  The saree was brought last year during Independence day for your Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai role.  The saree draped perfectly this year.  I had thought you 4 lines "My name is Dhriti Gajjala My role is Sarojini Naidu I write poems I love you India Jai Hind" All the rehearsals were perfect but then you did not say anything in the school.  I don't know why? anyways i am very happy the way your costume turned out.

Kathak dance classes started

My long cherished dream of sending you to the Indian Classical Dance finally came true last weekend when we got you admitted to the Kathak Dance Class with Ragini Teacher in RNA Broadway Avenue.  You have completed to sessions.  Might have to get you the uniform which is a white salwar kameez with green dupatha and gunguru.  The teacher suggested we get them after a month when the rains have reduce.  I already have the garment to get the uniform done.  Tomorrow is saturday and we need to go to the class. The teacher has also asked to attend the class with all the jewellery on like the long chain, bangels, hair clips, bands and a light make up where kajal and lipstick is complusory.  I plan to buy you a branded kajal and lipstick.  Need to check out the options suitable for children.

hi, long time not posted anything on this. Now dhriti is much older than what she was went i created this for her. Now i plan to keep updating about her here. Her latest vent is talking. Starting calling out amma, avva more than calling she cries ammmaaa, avvvaaaa :) Happy to hear her talk. Just waiting when she will start our own family 24hr radio station - DHRITIFM
