Easter holidays - Starts with a bang

Easter Holidays started with a bang .. with daddy being home for the weekend we fully used it by going for a long walk to Rodley Nature Reserve and on Sunday a sudden plan to Scarborough and Whitby.  Dhruvi was surprised her parents can be so spontaneous in plan holidays.

Janmasthami is over. .. Independence day is here.  Event to be dressed as a freedom fighter and say 4 lines. We decided on Sarojini Naidu and dressed you up in the saree.  The saree was brought last year during Independence day for your Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai role.  The saree draped perfectly this year.  I had thought you 4 lines "My name is Dhriti Gajjala My role is Sarojini Naidu I write poems I love you India Jai Hind" All the rehearsals were perfect but then you did not say anything in the school.  I don't know why? anyways i am very happy the way your costume turned out.

June 2014 - Swimming @ GSC

June comes with school. reopening and a new journey for you.  Swimming has been in your mind for a long time and after a lot of search I found out Goregaon sports club is the best.  So we started formal coaching @ GSC from 11 June.  This meant you had to travel by local train everyday.   You seemed enthu abt it but that meant a lot of changes in your day schedule where u would not be able to sleep in the afternoon as u have today study and finish ur homework. You never ribbed but I understand its hard for u.  But for now we dont have a choice. June is also your birthday..... I had convenced you u for a no party celebration.  Mummy and Daddy had come over for the birthday.  We went to Shirdi.

Water Animal

I and your Dad love to be in water.  Though i don't know to swim and he just manages to swim to survive.  You have been a water animal from the begining.  When you were 1 and 1/2 old and we had taken you out to a resort in Arnala, you refused to see us in the fear of being taken out of water.  Your are still the same.  You just get pulled into the pool or into the sea.  So we are planning to start your swimming sessions soon but before that wanted to try out some sessions.  After all the research we found the only 2 good pools in mira road are in Asmita club and GCC club.  Both coach only for a month.  GCC pool is a bigger one and will not let you in untill you are 7yrs.  So here are a couple of pictures from the Asmita Pool a couple of weeks ago.
