Dhriti and Dhruvi - The Joy of My Life

September the biggest festival - Ganesh Chaturthi. This time we went to Ketwadi to see the ganpathi. I really like this part of the festival. There were a lot of different forms of ganapathi in ketwadi like the gopala ganapathi, Nagendra ganapathi, chikki ganapathi. Finally we went to Lalbagh there we got to miss half the queque as one of the police saw you were tired and let us miss some part of the line. The london travel is finalised and we went with all our documents to the london visa office. I was nervious where we will be granted visa or not due to my biggest mistake. But god's grace the passports came back with visa stamping for all of us. Now the actual travel activities began.

August is about celebrations. The first onces for the year. It started with independence day, you had fancy dress competition in your school. I got you ready like a haryana lady. Got a new lehenga, top stitched. Got jewellery from monday market. I liked your entire costume and you carried yourself very nicely with all the makeup. Pics to follow.

As we continued the momentum of June... July brought in surprise. You were sent a report card for your performance from April - July. I never knew it existed for STD 1. Find a copy of it here. Your performance was not bad but when you were explained what the grades ment you promised dad to score maximum O's next time around and will work very hard for it. I was impressed. You really started working towards your grades. I also got the news from my office that there is a travel planned to london for a week to attend a training. I am thinking of taking you and dad along. It will be fun. Before anything else i got your passport renew which was due to expired this month.

This was a action packed month. Getting you out of vacation mode and waking up a 6.00 am was a really big task. It still is. We were back in full swing with our life with your school, dance , music, studies, my office and the monsoon this year was on time and in full volume. It rains every day. I really feel very bad to wake you up in early morning for school but do i have a choice. We just pushed ourselves to sail thro June

May was a very active month.  Never at home.  after the Shirdi trip on 5th we got ready to go to bangalore for 15 days.  This was going to be lots and lots of fun.  We travelled on 17th May.  Grand parents and Manju mama was very excited to have us around.  Manju mama has become very fat :) We met Chandra mama, chintu, tanisha, sujay and his baby sis on 20th May.  21st we were all off to hyderabad.  the entire family lots of fun in the train.  The mango moussee melted by the time we tasted it. It was obvious for the hot May afternoon.  It was a train which took the maximum hours to reach hyderabad.  We reached their early morning. Reached home at around 8.30 am and rest till afternoon.  Hyderabad was very hot.  Then planned up for Bhadrachalam for the night journey.  We had all our berths booked.  So after dinner we travelled by the hyderabad local which is very different from mumbai local.  There are h...

Finally a much awaited vacation has started.  Stopped all classes, no learning only having fun.  This of things we did this April - May 13th April we visited the Jahangir gallery, Akbarallis.  Lunch was your favourite bun maska with mango milk shake.  Evening we went back home early as grandma was not too well.  You got 2 new toys to play one is gold fish (you named Goldy) and one red car. 20th April, along with the grandparents we visited the Nehru Science Center in Worli.  Planned the Planetorium show for some other time.  We took the Worli bandra sea link to reach bandra.  A small accident and grandma was hit badly by a goat we went back home.  Not one of the nice weekends though 27th and 28 April was the weekend reserved to visit all other relatives in Chembur and Sion.  We stayed in Uma's house for the night.  I was very happy to meet all my cousins.  I went to Ghatkopar too and then finally to Rekha aunty's house....

Look at the traditional telugu girl this Udagi.  the hair is an artifical attachment which you lovely to have around the whole day.  You really look preety in this.  I have this picture of yours on my mobile wall paper.
