Gifted with the stars, moon, spaceships to dream on...

Dhriti's bedroom ceiling got a madeover last week. Her dad got its done with the night glowing scene from the space. Yes now dhriti sleeps to dream about the stars, moon, spaceships , planets, etc.

First pair of Sunglasses

Dhriti is so amases with specs that I observed her trying out everybodies (grand pa, grand ma & mine) glasses and not letting them fall. So I bought her a pair of sun glasses. She is so impressed with the glasses and the blue world that she can see with it. She keeps wearing it all day. Also helps her move out during these hot summer months in mumbai.

Cute Baby event on Women's Day

hmm, Finally after a lot of rehersals of how to walk, wave and give a flying kissing it was the day to do it all on the stage. The event was to start at 8.00pm on 8th March 09 at the common area stage setup in Solitiare. Untill 6.30 i was still shopping for the event. Got my gorgeous princess ready. When she wore her grown she realised there is something important happening. Then she let me dress her up. Wore all the accessories (braclets, necklace, hairband, etc). The best part was her smile. She enjoyed being dress and when she looked at the mirror she and ofcourse all of us knew she was rocking. Both of us reached the venue of the event to find a lot of other kids around some very small (a few months old) some older ones (around 6yrs old) everybody standing in a queque with their mothers. This was my first stage show where i am here with my daughter ready for the contest. All the kids were tagged and Dhriti was given NO. 13. The event started, the host started calling out ...

Currently she is bound to ....

She has discovered a new game for herself. To pick up two or three trumblers from my kitchen trolley and ask for some water in one of them. Is more of demanding, you don't have a way out. Then transferring it from one trumbler to the other. hardly transfers mostly drops its all on the floor. Then she looks at me and knows its not acceptable. Rushes gets a wipe cloth and cleans. Looks back again, sees a smile on my face. she smiles back and drops the trumbler hard on the floor. ( acceptable or unacceptable ..... no choice left)
